“Kent in the 19th Century” – Talk by Bob Ogley

Event Details

Bob is well known to many in Westerham with his regular columns in the Sevenoaks Chronicle and previous lectures to the Society. Being such a good speaker it is a great privilege to arrange for Bob to speak to us again. Bob is a well known local historian and WW2 expert with a fund of stories on the war for the Spitfire pilots out of Biggin Hill (Biggin on the Bump) as well as the impact of Doodlebugs & Rockets in the latter years of WW2. Bob’s wife assures me this talk of Kent in the 19th Century, nurse based on his recent book, has some very amusing stories.
